This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use the Dripi mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
This policy is designed in accordance with:

- The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)
By using Dripi, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. What Information We Collect

When you sign up or use Dripi, we may collect:

- Location (city-level only)
- Style preferences, fashion goals, and occasion inputs
- Body shape, size, and fit-related inputs (user-declared)
- Wardrobe uploads (images, descriptions)
- Feedback, chats, reviews, and community interactions
Note: Dripi does not require or collect precise measurements, medical data, or biometric identifiers.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device information (OS, app version)
- IP address (for security & fraud prevention)
- Usage behavior (screens viewed, features used)
- Interaction data (outfit saves, stylist follows, clicks)
1.3 Purchase & Transaction Information
- Order details (products, value, timestamps)
- Payment method type (not card or UPI details)
- Delivery city and pin code
- Returns and cancellations
Payment credentials are processed securely by third-party payment gateways. Dripi does not store card, UPI, or bank details.
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Core Platform Functionality
- Create and manage your Dripi account
- Provide AI-powered styling recommendations
- Build your fashion persona and style profile
- Enable wardrobe management and outfit planning
- Facilitate purchases and deliveries
2.2 AI & Personalization
- Train and improve Dripi’s AI Style Engine
- Match users with relevant stylists or creators
- Reduce fit-related returns and buying regret
AI decisions are assistive, not deterministic. Final purchase choices always remain with the user.
2.3 Communication
- Send onboarding messages and feature updates
- Notify you about drops, styling suggestions, or order updates
- Share important policy or security updates
2.4 Analytics & Improvement
- Understand usage patterns
- Improve product experience
- Prevent misuse, fraud, or abuse
3. Sensitive Personal Data
Dripi may process limited sensitive personal data under Indian law, including:
- Body shape classification
- Style preferences linked to personal identity
This data is:
- Collected only with user consent
- Used for personalization
- Never sold or shared for advertising without consent
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with:
4.1 Service Providers
- Cloud hosting & analytics partners
- Payment gateways
- Logistics & fulfillment partners
- Communication tools (SMS, email, push notifications)
All partners are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality and security.
4.2 Stylists & Creators
- They may see only anonymized or permissioned data relevant to styling (e.g., body type, occasion, preferences)
- They cannot access personal identifiers unless you explicitly allow it
4.3 Legal & Regulatory Authorities
If required by law, court order, or government request under applicable Indian laws.
5. AI Transparency & User Control
- View why a recommendation was made
- Edit or delete your style preferences
- Opt out of certain personalization features
- Request deletion of wardrobe uploads
We do not use your data to:
- Make credit decisions
- Perform facial recognition
- Perform behavioral surveillance outside the Platform
6. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on secure cloud servers (India or compliant jurisdictions)
- Encryption at rest and in transit
- Role-based internal access
- Regular security audits and monitoring
Despite best efforts, no system is 100% secure. Users are encouraged to protect their account credentials.
7. Data Retention
- As long as your account is active
- As required for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes
- Until deletion is requested and processed
Inactive accounts may be anonymized after a defined period.

Dripi Stylist (Creator) Privacy Addendum
Effective Date: [01/01/26]
This Stylist Privacy Addendum (“Addendum”) forms an integral part of the Dripi Stylist / Creator Agreement (“Agreement”) entered into between Upquark Phygitech Private Limited (“Dripi”) and the Stylist / Creator (“Stylist”).
This Addendum governs how Stylists may access, use, and protect Customer Data while using the Dripi Platform.
1. Purpose of Access
Stylists are granted limited, conditional, and revocable access to certain customer-related information strictly for the purpose of:
- Creating and curating fashion looks
- Providing styling recommendations
- Monetizing content and looks through the Dripi Platform
Stylists are not customers of such data and shall act only as Data Processors under applicable Indian law.
2. Data Ownership
2.1 Customer Data Ownership
All Customer Data—including personal, behavioral, wardrobe, sizing, interaction, and transaction-related data—is and shall remain the exclusive property of Dripi.
2.2 No Independent Rights
Nothing in this Addendum grants the Stylist any ownership, license, or proprietary interest in Customer Data.
3. Scope of Data Access
Stylists may be provided access to only the minimum data necessary, which may include:
- Anonymized or pseudonymized style personas
- Body shape category (non-measurement-based)
- Skin tone category (broad classification)
- Occasion context
- Fashion preferences and constraints
- Engagement metrics related to their looks (views, saves, conversions)
Stylists shall not receive access to:
- Customer names, phone numbers, email addresses
- Exact addresses or pin codes
- Payment or transaction credentials
- Any government-issued identifiers
4. Prohibited Activities
Stylists shall not, directly or indirectly:
- Download, copy, scrape, store, or retain Customer Data
- Attempt to re-identify anonymized users
- Solicit customers outside the Platform
- Share personal contact details or social handles
- Insert QR codes, flyers, or off-platform links
- Use Customer Data for personal branding, external monetization, or remarketing
- Train external AI models using Platform data
Any violation constitutes a material breach.
5. Data Usage Restrictions
Customer Data accessed via Dripi:
- May only be used within the Platform
- May not be combined with any external datasets
- May not be retained beyond session-level access
- May not be used post-termination
6. AI & Content Rights
6.1 AI-Generated Insights
Any insights, rankings, performance analytics, or AI-augmented styling outputs generated using Platform data belong exclusively to Dripi.
6.2 Look Performance Data
Stylists may view performance data of their own looks but may not export or commercially reuse it outside Dripi.
7. Confidentiality & Security Obligations
Stylists agree to:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all Platform data
- Use secure devices and private networks
- Immediately report any suspected data breach or misuse
Confidentiality obligations survive termination for five (5) years.
8. Consent & Legal Basis
Dripi collects Customer Data with valid user consent and permits limited Stylist access under:
- Contractual necessity
- Legitimate interest (personalized styling)
- User-authorized engagement
Stylists shall not seek independent consent from Customers.
9. Audits & Monitoring
Dripi reserves the right to:
- Monitor Stylist activity and access logs
- Conduct audits or investigations
- Suspend or terminate access without notice for violations
10. Termination & Access Revocation
Upon termination:
- All access to Customer Data is immediately revoked
- Any cached or stored data must be deleted
- Continued use or retention constitutes unlawful processing
11. Indemnity
The Stylist shall indemnify and hold harmless Dripi against:
- Data misuse
- Unauthorized disclosure
- Regulatory penalties arising from Stylist actions
- Third-party claims related to privacy violations
This indemnity is uncapped.
12. Governing Law
This Addendum shall be governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to arbitration and jurisdiction as defined in the main Agreement.
13. Acknowledgement
By continuing to act as a Stylist on Dripi, the Stylist acknowledges that:
- Customer trust is core to Dripi’s platform
- Data misuse will result in permanent de-platforming
- Monetization is conditional upon compliance
